Robert G. Marsh, 89, of Galena, IL passed away on July 27, 2024, at Midwest Medical Senior Community. His loved ones will celebrate his life on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 2 PM at Grace Episcopal Church, Galena. Friends are welcome to gather at the church from 1 PM until the time of the service. He will be laid to rest in the church columbarium. The Furlong Funeral Chapel in Galena is assisting the family. Bob was born on June 26, 1935, in Detroit, MI, the son of Paul and Mary (Huber) Marsh. He graduated from Tustin High School in California and attended Durham University, CA. He was united in marriage to Diann Travis on October 16, 1953, in Santa Ana, CA and she preceded him in death on February 18, 2024. Bob worked in the sheet metal industry and was also a school bus driver. He was an enthusiastic train and knife collector.
