Michael L. Sisler, 77, of Galena, IL, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2024, at UW Madison Hospital after a long, courageous battle with Multiple Myeloma. A memorial service will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, August 3, 2024, in the Vista Room, at Chestnut Mountain Resort, Galena. Following the service, a celebration of life will continue until 4 PM. He was born on April 8, 1947, the son of Clyde and Vivian (Bray) Sisler. Mike graduated from Galena High School with the class of 1965. He attended Loras College, earning a Fine Arts degree in 1970. He married Lynn Stephens on October 11, 1975, at the United Methodist Church in Washington, IA. Mike began working for his dad at Sisler Construction during high school and purchased the business in 1978, operating the company until 1998. He ultimately retired from Tri-North Builders in 2014.
